I hope all is well...

I am trying to resolve integrity levels wrt our product developments re: sw and hw...

Can you advise me about the certified standards M-Shield security technology meets or could meet, IEC 61508 or others?

    Hello Alexander,

    The only publicly available information about the M-Shield technology is that it meets the standards of several different groups that are currently in the market: Open Mobile Terminal Platform (OMTP), Trusted Computing Group (TCG), Open Mobile Alliance (OMA), and Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). This is taken from TI M-Shield whitepaper (http://www.ti.com/pdfs/wtbu/ti_mshield_whitepaper.pdf). The available crypto and security features are described in OMAP4 TRMs.

    For more information about this technology you need to contact a TI representative, because it is not publicly available.
