Create "ts_calibrate" as Matrix-gui application

Hi,

I want to create "ts_calibrate" as matrix-gui application.

i just have created a simple script which will stop matrix application and start ts_calibrate binary which will calibrate the touch screen and restart matrix-gui application again. by running this script though shell it just works fine.

but when we start the application through matrix-gui, it closes the matrix-gui and then starts ts_calibrate binary, after the calibration it gust stopped and dint start again matrix-gui application.

Please give me any suggestion.

How are you killing and starting Matrix?

Your best would bet would be to use the init scripts below to kill and start Matrix. The Matrix init script also automatically runs ts_calibrate if it doesn't find the pointercal file in the /boot partition. So if you delete that file in your script you can simply stop and run the Matrix init script and it should do exactly what you want.

/etc/init.d/matrix-gui-2.0 stop

/etc/init.d/matrix-gui-2.0 start
