Android 4.3 porting

I'm going to port Android 4.3 on a customized OMAP4430 platform. However, the latest source tree for OMAP4 on omapzoom is 4AJ.2.5, which is based on Android 4.2.2.

My question is, how to find the original commit of a source file if it was checkout from AOSP at beginning?

Thanks in advenced

  • Hi Qian,  Curently there is not updated 4.3 version in the wiki, but work is on progress. Why do you need the original commit as there are other paralelle projects that you can gather resources  to compare? ( for example there is a linaro 4.3 release)

  • Hi Boyko,

I have been working on 4AJ.1.1 and 4AJ.2.2 for plenty of time, that I already study the 4AJ.x.x source tree for a while. If I can retrieve the history from original AOSP commit to 4AJ.x.x, I can understand what TI have done to port AOSP to Blaze/PandaBoard, then I can follow the same logic to port AOSP 4.3. on my OMAP4 device.

That's the reason, any suggestions are welcomed.

    Thanks.
