Hello all,

I am using Logic PD's evm for OMAP-L138, Code Composer Studio v5 and Spectrum Digital's Jtag.

I am trying to do a loopback using Ethernet, but am being unsuccessful.

What I have tried: I enabled the EMAC Control Register loopback bit and disabled the GMIIENA bit. Then proceeded to send a message with the same destination and source address/ports (evms IP and port where I wanted to listen). But no success,

I, also, simply tried sending a message using the evm's IP as the destination and as the source, with the listening port without changing the EMAC Control register, but no luck either.

Any ideas? They will be very much appreciated.

Hi Michelle,

Have you tired using the examples provided by LogicPD for EMAC loopback test.

Please refer the example code avalible at http://www.logicpd.com/products/system-on-modules/omap-l138-som-m1/#documentation

All the supporting BSL files are avalible in the same directory

Hi Antony,

Thank you for your response. I am trying to look for the example code available but have been unseccussful. The only things like it I can see is a BSP, but its Linux based.

You need to download CCS Setup & BSL files for (CCS v4.2.4) .

Attached the screen shot for your reference.
