DM368 CVBS Output

Hello,

The project I am designing now is DM368-based which needs to output NTSC-RS170 video wisgnal.

RS170 is a monochrome NTSC video signal.

I referred to sprufg9c.pdf (below liink).

On page 113, Figure 72 illustrates that the sub-carrier is blended to chroma signals.

Question:

Is it possible to disable sub-carrier generator or to cut off chroma signal from the mixer of CVBS output ?

I am not aware if we can do it from DM368 side, but you can try this

using a sync seperater might be feasible.

Hi Eason,

It's truely an alternative to remove the color burst with analog processing.

After I asked the client, he actually requests the product to be able to retrieve NTSC-RS170.

It is not necessary to output NTSC-RS170.

However, I will refer to the way you suggested. Thanks.
