8168 decode from network

hi ,i want to know if i get the video frame data from network to decode . we know that the status of the network is changed dynamicly.so if sometimes there is no data to be sent to the decoder ,whether the decoder will be down?

I'm not familiar with the RDK but I'd be surprised if the decoder broke just because there was no network data available to decode. Trying it out for real would be the obvious thing to try out.

If you stop feeding data to the decoder nothing will happen. Decoder will resume decoding when you feed the next frame
