question on DVRRDK frame timestamp

after I change the system clock in linux using date -s ......... command,
the time stamp in frames are still using the old time.

what api can I call so that the time stamp of frame would change accordingly to fit the new system time?

If you are using DVR RDK 4.0 you can use Vdis_setWallTimeBase API and pass the gettimeofday values converted to ms
