Hi All,

I m working on omap3 and camera (tvp5150 ) . but ı can not find a video driver for tvp5150 work with omap3530. there is a driver work on linux. But it is using subdev_init to register v4l.how can ı make work tvp5150 with omap? I searched tvp514x drivers it is attached to omap34xxcam driver.but ı can not find a way to attach omap34xxcam with tvp5150. do you know any way to make work tvp5150 on omap3. how can ı active /dev/video0 with tvp5150.

As far as I know, there is no official support for this camera device in TI's linux kernel mainline. It means you probably have to implement it yourself. In order to do so, you have to figure out the parallel configuration output by your camera sensor and configure the ISP driver the same way. If you need to perform some specific configuration on your TVPXXX over I2C/SPI, then you will have to implement some "sensor" driver that performs these steps.

Thanks for the reply.

I finally managed to adapt my driver to the new v4l2 framework. I'm now trying to capture some video provided by the sensors throught the omap3isp' CCDC module.

Do you have a clue on how to run this type of application?
