yes, the boot loader should send something. They got a bit more verbous in latest IA-SDK releases:

If there is no output at all your flashing of the boot loader may have failed or your PC connection has an issue.

Ok, I have already look this message last week.

I don't think that the bootlader was wrong, I have remarked these symptoms:

No boot loader (spi flash erased from 0x00 to 0x20000) => D4 On.

Boot Loader present: D4 off

It's not the usb wire (if I debug with JTag, it's Ok).

It's perhaps that my boot loader version is not able to communicate:

C:\ti\am335x_sysbios_ind_sdk_prebuilt_01_00_00_08\Bootloader\ICE\SPI \boot_SPI.bin

D4 is an application LED driven by GPIO. So that does not help.

I always recommend to use latest code (IA-SDK is at 1.1.0.1 now). But 1.0.0.8 boot loader should work too...
Just try the new one.

Ok, but if I search in the <am335x_sysbios_ind_sdk_1.1.0.1> directory:

the only boot_spi.bin that I find is:

C:\ti\am335x_sysbios_ind_sdk_1.1.0.1\sdk\starterware\binary\armv7a\cgt_ccs\am335x\evmAM335x\bootloader

They are a binary files available: boot_SPI.bin (30k). Is it the good file ?

If I flash it, same thing, no communication. Tomorow, I reboot my Pc and retry.

You need to download the new pre-build package too. This has all bin files.

Ok, I had already the last version of sdk:

C:\ti\am335x_sysbios_ind_sdk_1.1.0.1

But I don't see prebuild directory, there is a starterware directory with multiples .bin:

\starterware\binary\armv7a\cgt_ccs\am335x\evmAM335x\bootloader\       boot.bin, boot_spi.bin.

Is it the good file ? To be sure...

As said the bin files are in a separate package that you need to download. Just go to the download page again and look for the pre-builds zip.
