how to use the IMG_quantize of the imglib function

Hi! I'm new to OMAP,I want to use the function of imglib to make quantization in JPEG compression.When i read the imglib's pdf,I can't understand the IMG_quantize of the imglib function.I want to know how to set reciple_table and q_pt's values. and what's q_pt stand for and what is the meaning of Q-point of quantization values? Thanks for your help
