Verify larger contiguous memory allocation (Linux Desktop SDK)

Hello all:

I am using the Desktop Linux SDK 1.0.0.7, and I want to set-up a large (2000MB) pre-reserved contiguous memory allocation.

Link:  http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Desktop-linux-sdk_01.00.00_Getting_Started_Guide#Using_larger_and_pre-reserved_contiguous_memory_allocation:_Optional

Once I've followed the instructions on the Wiki to reserve this larger memory space (use install_grub.sh), I reboot my computer as instructed.

After my computer reboots, how can I now verify the amount of memory I just reserved?
