Hello,
I need a little guidance regarding application development using my OMAP-L137 EVM board. I have successfully rebuilt the system software and installed the SDK, etc.
I am working through the DSP/BIOS Link Installation Guide v 1.61.03 published in Mar 2009.
Everything was going fine until I found on page 13 the instructions to install the AIS file generator. My distribution does not have the ds8xx and related subfolders present. I did a search and was able to download what I thought was the most recent version of AISgenD800K001-0.3.0.0-setup.exe, but when I ran the installer and then ran AIS gen.
The screenshot of what I got is shown here and does not agree with the screenshot showing on figure 1.2 on page 12.
Note that the checkboxes for Boot Arm and Boot Dsp are missing along with the corresponding file specifications, etc.
ALso, it is all well and good to have example programs to eventually load and run, but what about code developement examples? I have CCS 3.3 and a working Linux environment. Are there any tutorials that take you through the actual development of an application from start to finish utilizing DSPLINK in a debug environment as a developer would actually go through?
The learning curve here seems to be quite steep and I am an experienced TI-DSP programmer.
Thanks!
