Audio Interface on OMAP3530EVM

Hi  all
  I am working on OMAP3530EVM(from Mistral) running Android kernel on top of it.I am validating the Audio interface on the board.when kernel comes up i play a  *.3GP file and I could see only the video getting displayed on the LCD.I could not hear any audio.I am connecting my headset to the audio-out port on the board.I have enabled ALSA drivers,ASoC ,TWL4030 codec.I tested the Audio-out path by loading a prebuilt binary given by Mistral and with Mistral's image audio-out is working .But when i try to build my own image and test , Audio-out is not working.Could anyone kindly tell me what might be the reason for Audio not getting played.

    Ananth,

    Some additional details will help - Kernel version, application being used (specific params, if any).

    The 3GP file is container. Do you know what is the audio format in the file? Do you have corresponding decoder?

    Also, can you try an audio only stream e.g. and MP3 to validate the audio path with the Andriod running.
