How dvsdk be integrated with Android?

I am working on an OMAP3530 board.Currently the Android Kernel is up and running on the board.I read that the DVSDK can be used by media applications for communicating with DSP for encodig,decoding and other tasks. Can someone tell me what are the steps involved in integrating the DVSDK with the Android kernel?Can DVSDK be integrated with Android Kernel and compiled or can DVSDK be compiled as a shared library so that applications might use those libraries.

Unfortunately the DVSDK and Android are not currently integrated though this is something that will probably happen in the future, someone else recently asked a similar question in this thread, though it was related to codec engine specifically, that is the core of the DVSDK and where you would probably start.

Thanks for your kind reply.I read in the forum that DVSDK is based on the

linux 2.6.22 kernel.I have a linux 2.6.29 kernel.Is it possible for me to build

DVSDK for the 2.6.29 version?

There are actually many versions of the DVSDK out there across many platforms and kernel versions, the latest/current version of the OMAP3 DVSDK is built and tested on a 2.6.29 kernel (i.e. PSP-SDK 2.01.03.11).
