OMAP 3503 CBC Power Pins

Hi,

The datasheet for OMAP 3503 CBC package does not show information on the following pins:

AD18

L20

AD19

AB24

Can you provide information on electrical characteristics and functionality of these pins? I did find information on where these pins could potentially be connected to, but I am looking for more detailed information that will allow me to understand what they are used for and if the voltage levels that I will apply are ok.

Thanks

-Danny

  • As you have probably seen this wiki article discusses the CBC package pins, and gives suggested connections for pins that are not covered properly by the datasheet.

In an OMAP35xx these pins are not being used specifically for anything, however they must be powered so you could consider them power pins for practical purposes. In particular all of the pins you list should be on the VDDS I/O rail, which should be at 1.8v, so as long as you are giving them 1.8v you should be fine.

  • FYI, I'm told a massive overhaul of the datasheet (to correct the pinout info mainly) is supposed to be on the web tomorrow/Friday.  Once I get a chance to verify it against that wiki article I will probably "tear down" much of the article and refer back to the updated datasheet.
