Efficient usage of PA and QMSS for SCTP

Hi guys,

I know my question is irrelevant for this forum but i guess some of you favor from PA for alike.

I am going to implement SCTP on Keystone device. So i want to usa PA and QMSS to reduce latency.

What is the best way to deliver chunks to users?

Is PA just lookups protocol? What else PA can do for SCTP?

On the RX Path how can i copy chunks to user space?

On the TX Path can PA send a copy of the packet to retransmission buffer while sending packet out of SoC?

Burhan.

  • Hi Burhan,

This is a multicore device forum, in which we will support only the TI device specific queries and packages released for the SoC.

Are you going to implement SCTP on top of Linux? If yes someone from Linux Forum may have answer for your query. Please let me know so that  we can move your thread to the correct forum.

    Thanks.

  • Hi Rajasekaran K,

I was aware that my question wasn't a good one for this forum.

Since Keystone devices are complex, understanding a coprocessor or a subsystem needs time which i haven't:)

By the way, I am going to use SYS\BIOS.

    Thanks,

    Burhan.
