Counting the clock cycles in a DSP C6713

Hello.

I am working with Code Composer Studio V5.2.1, with the DSP C6713 as target. I need to evaluate the performance of an application, the question is:

How can I "Turn on and enable the Clock under the Run menu to count clock cycles."

In the "Debug" perspective of CCS (not the "Edit" view),

Go to: Run -> Clock -> Enable.

It should show up near the bottom of the screen while the program runs on your target.
