usb timed out issue in DM8107

Hello,

                 we are using DM8107 in our board and sometimes facing problem in usb. we get usb timed out randomly. we got following log in dmesg.

"usb 2-1 pvrDoor timed out on ep1out len=0/4096"

             I have found patch for this issue at "http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel.stable/15679". Please, anybody can confirm that this patch is stable and it address to this particular problem.

    Hi All,

    PFB inputs on this from Sriram and Ravi...

    There is no ehci controller on DM8107. So errata USB entry of DM8107 does not apply.

    You can take usb bus traces and console logs could be helpful to see what is happening at bus & what could be issue. Enable debug level (echo D8 > /proc/driver/musb_hdrc.0 or 1) and provide the dmesg output.

     

    You can check whether you see this issue in PIO mode?
