How to use simulator C6747 Device Cycle Accurate Simulator

Hi,

I try to optimize codes on DA830 platform. First, I use simulator C674x CPU Cycle Accurate Simulator to calculate the MCPS using Profile. But when I run the code on the hardware, the mcps is much high than that on simulator. I find that C674x CPU Cycle Accurate Simulator is flat memory. So I try to use simulator C6747 Device Cycle Accurate Simulator. The value is higher than hardware. If I want to use this simulator, how can I set this simulator? Except cmd file, should I use other gel file rather than the defualt one? Thanks!

You will get the list simulators for TI device with CCS version.

I found the gel file is the defual one. If I want to simulate the situation in evmomapl137, is it better to use the gel file evmomapl137_dsp.gel in ccsv5\ccs_base\emulation\boards\evmomapl137\gel. One more question, how can I enable the catche of MAR128_159 and MAR192_223? Is internal 128kB Shared RAM catchable? How can I enable 128kB Shared RAM? Thanks!
