OmapZoom 34xx II --- only backlight, no screen

Hi,

I got a new OmapZoom 34xx II and installed the kernel image 2.6.31 on it, I have a bare minimum file system.

When booted, I can get the console on my serial terminal and run various commands, but I do not see anything on the device screen, no linux logo, no blue screen just backlight while starting the kernel.

Any help is highly appreciated.
