I need to test OMAP-L137 support for eMMc devices.

I plan to palce the eMMc part on a small board to be inserted into the SD/MMC connector of Digital Spectrum OMAP-L137 EVM.

Which are "proven" eMMC commercial parts with a ready support according to updated Montavista Linux 2.6.18 ?

For instance I know that SD parts support is ready, but only for 2 GB max size parts.

Any suggestion on the matter is welcome.

    Hi Misha,

     

    I do not have a list of "proven" eMMC commercial parts, but, ideally, SD controller will support any eMMC card provided it is fully compatible with SD or MMC standard. Some of eMMC card requires external ECC calculation and our SD controller does not have capability for ECC calculation.
