Hi,

 

We are using TPS65930 to power up the OMAP35930, reswarm signal is toggling at an interval of 33uSec, can any one suggest where can the problem be..??

    Hi,

    select the boot settings by SYS_boot[0-6] pins, and make sure that the processor finds the code in that.

    for example if you select SD card i.e MMC1 as primary booting device, power up the peripheral ( provide power to SD / MMC card) and make sure MLO file is present in the SD/MMC card.

     

    please refer TRM chapter 25 , Applications processor initialization, page no 3379, fig 25-8. if the ROM code doesn't find code in the boot device it waits for WD reset, so it goes into a continous loop untill it finds proper booting device.

     

    There can be other issues if you are not using power companion IC, like the proper power sequence should be maintained.
