DM6446 previewer settings

Hi,

I am using DM644x video processor with Omnivision's OV9712 CMOS capture sensor. In software settings of previewer, I am using same settings as MT9T001.

My problem is that sensor captures image in raw bayer pattern. But when I use the davinci previewer to convert raw data to YUV 4:2:2, colour information is lost from the image. I only get the Y data. U and V data is nil. What could be the problem?

As per dm6446 errata,There can be a timing glitch between the asynchronous VPFE input pixel clock and the internal VPFE clock that can cause pixel misalignment on the CCDC to PREV path. This misalignment is observed as causing a " pink " effect on the processed image (since the color pattern is misaligned). This is the problem I am facing.

In the solution, they have mentioned that Define the Preview Engine processing frame to start no earlier than the second pixel on a line and to end no later than the second-to-last pixel on a line. This requires the CCDC to be configured to transfer more pixels per line than is  needed by the Preview Engine. How can I make it possible through software?

Thanks,

Krinali Shah
