There is one omap3530 demo board on my hand,Someone has been using tms320dm6446 done some app in JPEG2000 , some app include 80Mhz sample ,Cr=36.7 .

dose somebody here,use omap3530 doing some work in JPEG2000 codec /encodec ?

and want to konw how can evaluate this feasible?

I have not seen it done on OMAP3530, but if it runs on the DM6446, or most any C64x+ core, than it can probably be ported to the OMAP3 platform as well. It seems there is a JPEG2000 codec out there by BroadMotion for the C64x DSP that should run on the OMAP3 platform, however the software would need to be repackaged to fit in to the Codec Engine framework so this is something you may want to ask the developer about. I have not come across a JPEG2000 ported to DM6446, however if you can find that one it would be even easier to port to OMAP3.
