We need few clarifications on supporting audio over BT. Please find our queries below.
1. McBSP3 is used for Bluetooth Voice Data interface. Can we configure McBSP3 in Master mode of operation and
is this been validated in PSP release version 2.6.29.
2. If McBSP3 is validated, then is it over ALSA-SOC?
3. If not validated then can we get to know the procedure (either over ALSA-SOC or direct interface to mcbsp driver) to configure McBSP
in Master mode so that we can probe the Data, Clock signals on connectors that goes to Bluetooth interface. Also is it possible to
modify the audio driver to configure McBSP3 instead of McBSP2 so that we can pump data to Bluetooth interface
4. If McBSP3 is validated, but not in the official release version 2.6.29, then can we get the procedure or the draft code that is used
for validation
5. If McBSP3 is not part of PSP release, then can we know the procedure to plug-in the McBSP3 configuration to the ALSA-SOC layer,
so that we can see some PCM data transfer over the Bluetooth interface.
6. If the McBSP3 have to operate in slave mode, then we need to plug-in the Bluetooth driver to the ALSA-SOC layer through to
configure McBSP3. Is our understanding correct?
