I have eMMC flash connected to MMC2 on a OMAP3530 (silicon rev 3.1). Generally, everything works fine except that I see occasional "MMC DATA CRC" errors reported by the MMC driver code in the kernel (2.6.27). The problem looks very much like the errata Advisory 2.1.1.128 MMC: Multiple Block Read Operation Issue (page 82). The advisory is listed as a problem with 2.1 silicon and earlier. It is NOT listed as an open bug under 3.1 silicon, however, we have some doubt as to whether it was really fixed based on what we are seeing. Is anyone else experiencing these DATA CRC errors? Can anyone from TI confirm that the Multiple Block operation problem has been truly resolved?
