It looks like freeRTOS is not supported for OMAPL137. But then there was a version of it running on TMS470XX. 

Would that be portable to the arm9 core ?

Just happened to come across this post while searching for something else.  I did the port back in 2009 and placed it on Sourceforge and FreeRTOS community but seems to have gotten lost over the years.  It will need updating to the latest but should give you a good idea of how to get it working.  Was written when there was no RTOS available for the L137, upon initial release, and I needed something.  Simple demo is included, see attached upload.

The demo project includes ARM part only. Do you have a DSP  part for OMAP_L137 which could be used to launch the ARM? It is supposed to have some PRUSS part to initialize ARM's vector tanle, right?
