I noticed in the SDK user Guide (OMAP35x_SDK_1.0.2/docs/OMAP35x/UserGuide_1_0_2.pdf) a curious note about controlling the power mangement system.
In section "10.4.2.2. Controlling the OPPs" it states:
Important
Using the device at OPP5 (Overdrive) may impact product lifetime.
Do not set OPP5 explicitly for longer durations. See the OMAP35x
Datasheet for more details.
Does anyone no what this actually means?
How long can you run thePart at OPP5? Does it need a heat sink at this setting?
How does it impact the product lifetime? by how much?
