Enabling neon and L2 cache in the Cortex-a8

Hello,

To develop a code for Neon, we have to enable neon and L2 cache in the Cortex-a8 to get appreciable speed increase in our code.

My doubt is how to enable these?

Is there any options provided in kernel menu configuration ?

If anybody successfully done this, pls guide me to resolve this issue.
