DM368 2A statistic error

Hi,

Now, we have a problem about AE&AWB statistic on DM368 platform. We open & close avcapture for some times( 5 ~ 300), and no reset during this process. The image will overexposure or underexposure due to incorrect 2A statistic data.

We developed software on IPNC1.5, but had added the differences that between the IPNC2.6 with IPNC1.5. The 2A statistic mode is SUM_ONLY.

Have you ever met this issue?

And how should we do?

I mean that no system reset and no hardware reset.

How to solve it? Please help me.

Are u using any 2a library?

We don't use 2a lib and develop the 2a by ourselve. So just use the 3A hardware statistic engine to get statistic data.

When you tell that open and close the av capture. Are u stopping the capture?. If so I don't think it is possible to get the 2a data? Or is it something else?

Yes, we have stopped the capture.

The procedure of open and close is like belowing:

DRV_captureStop() -> DRV_captureClose()->DRV_captureOpen()->DRV_captureStart()

These four functions are in IPNC2.6 SDK.

We can get the 2a data everytime after DRV_captureStart(). But after some times, the 2a data maybe wrong.

Hi, Is it possible for you do an H3A close before capture close and H3A open after capture open?. Or any driver method which resets out the H3A engine in your open/close process.
