C6748 NDK support/RMII driver support

Hey,

I'm looking at using the C6748 and would like a couple of things clarified. I found documentation online for the NDK, but I am not seeing the C6748 explicitly listed, only the C6747. Could someone confirm the C6748 is fully supported by the NDK?

Second, I understand the C6748 supports both the MII and MII ethernet interfaces in terms of hardware. Do the provided libraries and examples support both fully?

The Network Development Kit Support Package (NSP) contains ethernet driver code, libraries and network examples for various TI platforms.
It is meant to supplement the Network Development Kit (NDK), which consists of the platform independent networking code.

If you installed BIOS-C6 SDK (c6sdk_02_00_00_00) already, find the examples as mentioned the below path,
pdk_C6748_2_0_0_0\nsp_1_10_00_03\packages\ti\ndk\examples\ndk_evm6748_coff_examples.zip
pdk_C6748_2_0_0_0\nsp_1_10_00_03\packages\ti\ndk\examples\ndk_evm6748_elf_examples.zip

This release must be used with following component versions (or higher):

SYS/BIOS 6.33.01.25
CCS 5.1
NDK 2.20.06.35
XDCtools 3.23.00.32
C674X: C6000 Code Generation Tools 7.3.1

TMS320C6748 DSP have 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet MAC (EMAC).
The EMAC supports both Media Independent Interface(MII) and Reduced Media Independent Interface(RMII).

My question on MII and RMII was regarding the libraries and drivers. I know RMII is fully supported by the EMAC peripheral itself. Do the libraries and drivers support RMII fully?

Tobyn,

You can rebuild the EMAC driver sources in order to modify, update or add functionality.
If you edit any of the driver source code and/or RTSC build files, you must rebuild the EMAC library in order to incorporate these changes into it.

Yes, you can find the driver code after insatll NSP and NDK.
The NSP installer (ndk2.0_omapl138_nsp_01_00_00_02.exe) requires NDK V2.01.00 package to be installed first.
More details are available in the documentation within the NSP package. It requires the login id and password to download.

hi, i download the 2.21.00.32 NDK package, it don't have nsp, how i find it?
