hi,everyone!

about omap3530,I have two question:

1、Now which is the newest kernel version which supported by DVSDK?

2、I want to develop a multi-media (audio and video) player based on the omap3530, my idea is:

Apps--->gstreamer--->DMAI----->TI decoder lib!

is the idea feasible? or anyone can give me better solution ?

any suggestion is appreciated!

1) DVSDK releases are normally available via www.ti.com/omapsoftwareupdates (requires registration via www.ti.com/omapregistration); the current dvsdk is based on kernel 2.6.22. That said, there are newer kernels available for OMAP35x (as new as 2.6.29 rc3) but I am less sure about their compatibility with DVSDK components. I normally recommend customers to stick to the full DVSDK releases to avoid headaches unless you know there is something in a newer component you just cannot live without (you can check release notes to see changes).
