Attempting to add custom LCD to OMAP5 DSS (on HDMI)

I'm attempting to add a custom LCD via HDMI for use on the OMAP5 uevm5432 board. Most COTS monitors are working but this is a custom 800x480 LCD. The error I get is:

I've enabled FB debugging for EDID support and added some of my own debugging (see below). I was wondering if anyone knew why I cannot power on the PHY?

  • Issue solved. I had all the HDMI data and clock signals connected properly but the shield/ground wire became disconnected between the LCD and the EVM. When I reconnected the ground and rebooted, the PHY powered up correctly. The LCD is working now.
