I have a piece of code running on 64x+ DSP in OMAP 3530 and the code runs fine when MailBox IRQ is disabled for the piece of 64x+ code. When Mailbox IRQ is activated, the system crashed on that piece of 64x+ code.

Highly apprecate for any clue for possible cause for the problem.

Are you referencing the Mailbox IRQ as described in Chapter 6 of the OMAP3530 Technical Reference Manual (SPRUF98)?

If so, is the IRQ which you are referencing the MAIL_U1_IVA2_IRQ as illustrated in Figure 6-1?

Have you mistakenly used both the BIOS interrupt dispatcher as well as the interrupt keyword in the ISR?

I assume the crash happens when the interrupt actually occurs, right?
