DownloadUtility Transport Mode blank

I'm trying to reflash my OMAP35x EVM u-boot using DownloadUtility.exe, but when run it, the "Transport Mode" dropdown is blank so I cannot specify which serial port to use.  Is this a known problem?

    My installation is pretty old, but way back when I installed it section 5.1 suggested we copy entire OMAP35x_SDK_1.0.0 directory from Linux PC over to Windows.  I tried to outsmart the instructions and just copy the 'Utilities' folder, only to find out the dropdown was blank (similar to what you are seeing), copying the entire directory as suggested in the instructions fixed this for me way back then.  Of course there is newer software available today than there was when I tried it, but hopefully this is the issue you are seeing.

    I found the problem: it was just a matter of copying the whole board_utilities/windows_host/ dir from the SDK.
