C6678 EVM Ethernet Boot

Hi all,

I am having difficulty getting the Ethernet boot to work. I followed all the steps under "C:\ti\mcsdk_2_01_02_06\tools\boot_loader\examples\ethernet\docs" and tried different IP address but still no luck. I am using TMDXEVM6678L Rev 1.0. The attached figure shows that the board is sending the BOOTP packets but I notice the IP is 0.0.0.0.

We are using C6678 v1.0, is v2.0 still require the IBL?

Hi Murad,

IBL supports three I2C boot modes: NOR boot, NAND boot and EMAC boot.
Both NOR boot and NAND boot support maximum 2 images, EMAC boot supports only 1 image.
For all the I2C boot modes, user needs to set the boot dip switches to I2C master, bus address 0x51.
