DM8168 1.35GHz part

Hi All

We have order part for 1.35Ghz freq for cortex-A8.

I am tyring to set PLL for cortex A8 in below file.

<u-boot with RDK 4.0>/arch/arm/include/clock_ti816x.h

1)if i set frequency ~1.33GHz for coretex-A8

#define MAIN_INTFREQ2 0x9

#define MAIN_FRACFREQ2 0x147AE1

Soc is doesnt reponse for above setting.

2)if i set frequency ~1.31GHz for coretex-A8

#define MAIN_INTFREQ2 0x9

#define MAIN_FRACFREQ2 0x345000

Soc works fine.

Now my query is, Is am setting correct constant.

Is my soc part support 1.35GHz frequency.(please find photo attachment).

I am sending photo of our assembled board.Please find attachment.

1.35 GHz for A8 is supported for CYG4. Refer data sheet.

Also, value of FRAC part seems to be wrong. How did you get this number?

so what is the correct FRAC part number to set A8 work on 1.35GHz?

DM816x_FAPLL.xls present in DVR RDK release docs/UserGuides has steps to change frequencies. Please refer that.

sorry ,I can`t find such .xls file in docs/UserGuides . My RDK version is DVRRDK_03.50.00.05. Is that file only provided in newer DVR RDK release ?

Its is present from ver 4.0 onwards. Check with your FAE to get DM816x PLL calculation sheet if you dont have dvr rdk release.
