C5535 do not turn on when I plug it into my computer

Dear TI,

Today, I pluged my 5535 ezdsp via J1 usb into my computer, but seems there are no power turned on with it.

The display didn't light as well, this situation never happened before. I don't know what happen to my 5535 ezdsp, are there any solutions to fix it!?

Hi Richard,

You have to use the J2 port (the larger USB port) and just plug it straight into your computer.

My 5535 ezdsp also not work if I use the J2 port. Both usb ports do not power on my 5535 ezdsp.

Any other solutions?

is this a new board out of a box? Once it plugs into PC's USB plug, it should be powered up and LEDs light up. If this is a new board, contact your supplier for a replacement. Do you have another board to try?
