Hello,

I am involved in a project. I am using TMS320C6678. I have an Infrared Camera, which has 320x256 pixels (http://www.sofradir.com/produits/pdf/28.pdf).

I need to read data from the Camera, which supports UART Serial communication. If you have sample code, please guide me. I need to know library. I need to start from bigning. Please help me. Thanks

Check

PDK_INSTALL_DIRpackages\ti\platform\evmc6678l\platform_lib\src\evmc66x_uart.c

It's installed along with MCSDK.

Please download the BIOS-MCSDK from below. The PDK installed along with MCSDK has the UART API's (platform_lib).

I am little confused about UART communication for this project. Since the sensor has a electronic circuit board of Megalink (company), there are eight pins to get data for x pixels and eight pins to get data for y pixels. And there are two pins for UART communication. what I understand is that UART communication is to control (eg., to change register value to control clock, mode, etc.) the Megalink board because it has FPGA and I'll get pixel data from other 16 pins. Am I correct?

I found UART API for C6678:

C:\ti\pdk_C6678_1_1_2_6\packages\ti\platform\evmc6678l\platform_lib\src\evmc66x_uart.c

how can i use this library?

If i make a new project, how to add this? and in this file there is one header file "platform_internal.h". I am not able to find this header file. Please help me.

I got it. There are different functions in evmc66x_uart.c file for UART device (e.g., reading and writing data).
