DM368 IPNC image sensor issues

It seems following could be the issues:

1. Check if sensor is streaming by checking HSYNC/VSYNC/PCLK lines.

2. If sensor is streaming, most likely the ISP is not able to output from the resizers - this results in the green screen.

Can you check the configuration of ISS drivers and make sure that ISS is able to capture the sensor stream.

B.t.w which sensor is this? YUV or BAYER pattern? How many bits?

Sensor is streaming, i'm sure. Pattern image in my post, was getted directly from memory by simple programm wich map and save memory range as raw file. 

Sensor is black/white, 8 bits-per-pixel.

How can i check the configuration of ISP driver?

Now, i can get image encoded in h.264. But colors are wrong, image must be B/W.

 I guess RGB2YUV matrix must be properly configured, but any changes in register don't take any effect

Can you post the latest images in various stages?

1. after encoding.
2. YUV data
3. Raw Data
   
   This will help to conclude the possible issue. I guess the issue in ISIF configuration not RGB3YUV configurations.

You can get YUV by reading RSZ of ISp. If you have the DCC/ITT tolls that software can do that job for you.

RAW Image posted 2nd time and RAW posted 1st time are different? is there in problem with your input itself? Please have a check once again. Hope that is not the case.

Check your YUV data and its format. Most of TI encoders take YUV420SP data.  If your input is not actual YUV420Sp and still you force your encoder to read and process it, in that case, encoder interpretes your yuv differently, which might cause such issue.

  Any how it is  better to check on YUV formats and proceed ahead. YUV formats are configurable in ISP blocks.(RSZ)

First image(black/white) is output of moduletest.out drv_isif comand.  Second is cutted from screnshot of IPNC web interface. the problem is that i have monochrome 8 bpp bayer pattern image sensor and on output i want to have b/w image. Howere i see wrong colored image. And i don't  know how to configure davinci vpfe for correct work  with this input format.

Also on appro IPNC dm368 i can get b/w image by change rgb2yuv values, but on my board this changes dont take any effect.

Since your YUV data is wrong(assuming input is proper), did you verify the resizer configurations? RSZ config on Dm368 evm and your board are same?

Now, i can get b/w image from IPIPE and encoder. But image with strange defects

image getted before IPIPE processing looks fine 

M not sure. But I suspect Edge Enhancer module in ipipe. Please recheck it configs, & do some experiments :)
