Hi,

I need to do EDMA in the DSP side codec using the DMAN3 interface.

I have tried going through the documents which tell that DMAN3 should be used to do EDMA3.

Please suggest me the best way. An example would be helpful.

I have gone thru the edma_codec1 example in the Framework components example.
But could not understand it well.

Also in the wiki article, it was mentioned to use IRES interface to configure the EDMA3
If we want to access the DMAN3 APIs for the codec, do I need to create a seperate library for EDMA3?
If so can you suggest me some example?

Based on the following wiki: http://tiexpressdsp.com/index.php?title=Dman3_usingExternalRM, it seems like this may be possible startinf with FC 2.20; what DVSDK and FC (Framework components) versions are yu using? I believe the latest DVSDK for OMAP35x (I assume that is the platform you are using) has FC 2.20.

In the DVDSK, inside the "framework_components" installation, there are some examples that will indicate how to do DMA operations on a DSP using DMAN3 and ACPY3.

See <FC_INSTALL_DIR>/examples/ti/sdo/fc/dman3/examples/fastcopy. This might be helpful for you, you can find the right one for your platform.
