Converting embedded matlab function block in MATLAB Simulink model to C67xx DSP tlc file

Hello,

I'm new in C6713 DSK. I want to implement communication  project  using MATLAB Simulink and C6713. I will work for academic purpose. We bougt C6713 and I'm waiting to the  DSK to reach us from USA. I'm doing pre-research about this study.

There is limited simulink Blocks about C6713. So I decide to  instruct my own s- function blocks on simulink model for algorithm. But I'm not sure that embedded matlab function  simulink block can be converted to C6000 tlc file for using Code Composer Studio. I researched this topic on the net.But I couldn't understand exactly how I can do.

There is an information in here: http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/en/data/1-1AVB2/?solution=1-1AVB2. I didn't think that this is the best solution.I wonder that simulink can convert s-function block  to tlc file except for C6713 own simulink blocks(for ex. ADC,DAC blocks etc.)

How can ı overcome this problem?

Best Regards...

  • Hi Ahmet,

    Thanks for your post.

I think, you should contact Mathworks/MATLAB for their suggestion to handle this issue. I guess, they will support most of the TI development boards quite comfortably.

You have to check out with MATLAB whether they have support to convert s-function block to tlc file for C6713 DSK platform. I may not able to answer your question since i am not using Matlab. I do apologise for the same.

    Thanks & regards,

    Sivaraj K
