[OMAP3530] XDAIS and XDM Compliance and Codec Engine

Hi,

I am working on H.264 Video Decoder on OMAP 3530.I've following queries on xDAIS & XDM compliance.

 

1) Is it sufficient if all the rules are passed in Qualiti Tool to  make sure that the decoder lib is XDAIS compliant

2) In the xDAIS document , it is mentioned that global variables are not allowed as per the xDAIS compliance.My decoder is having some global buffers and varibales .But even then the qualiti Tool says that all the rules are passed.So does this mean that global varibales are allowed

3) Even if one rule fails in xDAIS , can i fit the deocder into Codec Engine framework ??

What error will the codec engine give if there is some problem with the xDAIS or xDM compliance?? Will it give any error during the dsp program load or at the run time.How can i debug the application at the linux side if there is a problem with the xDAIS or XDM Compliance??

 

Please clarify as this is very important for me to proceed.
