how to load .out file to flash??

helo , my ccs version is ccsV5.3
i want to load.out to flash. I read the PDF and according to readme.txt there is one line below:
"2.copy the ccs format datafile to write\eeprom\evmcxx\bin directory and rename it to app.dat"

I want to know what is app.dat. how to generate app.dat??

helo everyont ! I want to load compiled helo.out to flash,and want to watch the execution result after startup from flash .
i reviewed c:t\mcsdk\tools\writer\eeprom\docs\readme.txt . there is one line below
"2.copy the ccs foramt data file to writer\eeprom\evmc66xxl\bin directory,and rename it to app.out"

I want to know what ccs foramt data file is and what relation between it and my compiled helo.out file??
how to generate it ??
