Why are C6670 DDR3 address pins A15/14/13 connected to Samsung DDR3 NC Pins on EVM6670x?

Hi Champs,

According to EVM6670Lx Schematics, C6670 DDR EMIF address bus pins DDRA15/14/13 are connected to Samsung DDR3 NC pins.

So, could you please let me know why the C6670 DDR address pins are connected DDR3 NC pins.

These NC pins on this sixze memory device are high-order address bits on larger devices. These are unused when accessing smaller memories. This allows the memory to grow on the board without changing the PCB layout.
