I found that there are five voltage sources & twelve voltage domain controls in OMAP 35x processor which has dependices with other voltage sources. Do we need to change the depending voltage sources also to Change their domain state via software while changing state of one voltage source. Also I found that only VDD1 & VDD2 can be changed to SLEEP or RETENTION state or vice-versa, what about VDD3, VDD4, VDD5, if anything need to be in SLEEP or RETENTION state?
Also I noticed that there are Five Operation Performance Point (OPPs) for five of the voltage domains & rest are all in alway-on state, in this case whether these OPPs will set automatically or software has to do it when ever it requires?
I was referring spruf98a.pdf Technical Reference Manual, Chapter 4. With that I can able to understand that Power Management has done only for Supplies VDD1 & VDD2 with different modes of operation & controls. Then how to control the other VDD(3,4,5) supplies?
Is Smart Reflex in OMAP 35x & TPS 65950 are different or same? Can we use any one or both together we need to incorporate in the design.?
