Tempsensor recommendation for Altera FPGA and C6678

Hi,

I'm looking for a recommendation for Altera FPGA Arria V 5AGXA5. What is the best fit? I'm also looking for a sensor for the C6678 multicore processor. Is there a temperature diode inside the C6678? I couldn't find something in the reference design.

    Hello Xaver,

    Even though this is a temperature related question, it is very specific to C6678. I spent some time on the data sheet to find out that C6678 has a temperature alert configuration feature that could most likely be suitable for your application.  I moved your question to DSP forums since they would be ideal candidates with enough expertise in answering this question.

    Xaver,

    The thermal diodes exists but are not characterized/productized and therefore not supported in C667x devices.

    Hope you could find other approach for this. Thanks.
