TLV320AIC3106 with omap4460

Hi All,

We have custom board based on pandaboard es.

But We have changed Audio codec IC from twl6040 to TLV320AIC3106.

From where can i get drivers for TLV320AIC3106?

Do i need to change anything in u-boot for it?

In am335x starter kit, TLV320AIC3106 audio codec is used, can i use same drivers which is available for am335x starter kit?

Hi Jags,

You dont need to change anything in the u-boot, except if you need some audio capabilities before the kernel boots.

What kind of os are you trying to run there?

Thanks for your fast reply.

We are using ubuntu 12.04.

i want to integrate tlv320aic3106 in pandaboard es based custom board. i dont want any audio functionality before kernel boots.

from where can i get drivers for tlv320aic3106 to be used with omap4460.

my linux kernel version is 3.10.x.

In the above link, tlv320aic3106 is not available with omap4460.

Sorry for misleading you, I hoped that there is some source uploaded.

The best You can do now is to modify similar driver from the kernel. and follow the hints from this thread
