Why touch screen does not respond when i touch the program icon in Matrix GUI application

The calibration seems be solved,the follow infomation was been showed

Hi,

When you run the calibrate_ts utility, do you see all the 5 crossmarks that appear on the screen?

How many wires does you touchscreen use? Is the struct tsc_data am335x_touchscreen_data inside the board-am335xevm.c file correct?

I saw only one crossbar on the screen.

I use 4 wire for touch screen,

I did not modify the content of  struct tsc_data am335x_touchscreen_data.

i also did not modify anything for touch screen.

now i still have no idea to fix the problem.

there is only one ethernet on my custom board,

I just only use RGMII port(the second port) as ethernet,will the OS auto assign the RGMII port  to eth0?

Is this screen resolution correct? Are you able to see the whole Matrix App Launcher on your LCD or is the screen cropped?

You say you saw only one crossmark on the screen. Where was is located and did you touch the screen 5 times at the same place?

The TFT & TSC is NHD-4.3-480272EF-ATXL#-T which is the same with AM335x Starter Kit,so

i think the resolution of the TFT is correct.

i'm able to see the whole Matrix app on my TFT,and the Next symbol  also can be seen.

I'm sorry, I didn't understand if the crossbar changes position after you touch it the first time? The sequence should be: Top left, Top right, Bottom left, Bottom right, Center - one touch each.

After i touched the crossbar,there was no response,and the position did not change,

so the sequence you described above did not appear.

Hi,

I'm attaching my pointercal file, generated on a StarterKit. Please try to replace yours with it. The pointercal file is located in either /etc folder in the rootfs partition or in the boot partition.

Replace it and see if your touchscreen works properly by running ts_print or ts_print_raw and touching the screen.

1, I rename the name of 7485.pointercal to pointercal

2, I replaced old file with pointercal

I stopped the comand,

during above two commands executing,there were not anything happened on screen.

I touched the icon on screen ,it still not work correctly.

Just to be clear - you didn't just touch on one exact place, right? You moved your finger around and these were the results while moving your finger?

Another thing: Which file did you replace - the /etc/pointercal file or the one in the boot partition? Please replace both.

In my PCB board,the common PCB groud is DGND,

the ADC groud is GNDA_TSC,so It is separated from common PCB groud.

You shouldn't get any output from these two commands if you don't touch the touchscreen. This means that your touchscreen is generating input on its own. Judging by the output from the print commands you posted, it seems like your touchscreen is pinched in the Top left corner (the close to 0 values from ts_print confirm this and also the close to 4000 values from ts_print_raw). Please check your touchscreen for any deformations in the Top Left corner.

I will buy a stylus tomorrow,and i will try to calibrate by a stylus .
