am335x ethernet 2 port configuration

HI team,

one of the customer reuqirement is 2 Ethernet Port . He is using AM335x.

But with 2 different I/P and different network, both work fine. But 2 different i/p on same network they have some issue. Have anybody seen similar problems .

Also , customer wants to know, if we can assign same I/P for both ports on AM335x and can it work . This is new PRP protocol itseems

Let me know any inputs on this

"some issue" - this is very vague. Could you please provide details about the environment and the problem?

I assume you have configured the switch to Dual-MAC mode and you are no longer in switch mode.

Is this correct?

I guess its configured to Dual Mac mode since 2 diff i/p on diff n/w works as per customer .

Hi!

Any luck in making the port2 work?? I am using GMII2 configuration and my phy is getting detected but i am not able to ping any host device..!
